Cream 5%: (Note: This product is for scabies, not for lice.) |
Cream Rinse 1%:
Children ≥2 months to Adult: Rinse: Wash hair, towel dry, saturate hair with Nix, rinse after 10 minutes. Remove remaining nits with nit comb. One treatment eliminates infestations. Repeat only if live lice are seen after 7 days. Wash bedding and all clothing. Vacuum furniture and dispose of bag.
Cream 5% (Scabies): Children ≥2 months to Adult: Massage into all areas of skin from chin line to toe (head to toe in infants), leave on for 8-14 hours, then wash off thoroughly. May repeat in 1 week if live mites are seen.
Important side effects: Mild temporary itching or erythema.
Caution: Avoid contact with mucous membranes. Contraindicated if allergic to chrysanthemum flower.
